Industry Information
Hardware stamping is a process that uses punches and molds to deform or break stainless steel, iron, aluminum, copper and other plates and other materials to achieve a certain shape and size.
Metal stamping is sometimes called sheet forming, but there is a slight difference. The so-called sheet forming refers to the use of sheets, thin-walled tubes, thin profiles, etc. as raw materials. The forming method of plastic working is collectively referred to as sheet forming. At this time, the deformation in the direction of the thick plate is generally not considered.
Metal stamping
1. Punch for processing metal stamping parts
2. The structure of the punch and its fixing method. Due to the different shapes and sizes of the metal stamping parts, the actual conditions such as the processing and assembly process of the punch are also different, so there are many types of punch structures used in actual production. Its cross-sectional shapes are round and non-circular, and the blade shapes have flat sides and beveled sides, and the structures are integrated, inlaid, stepped, through, and jacketed. The fixing methods of the punch include shoulder pad fixing, riveting fixing, screw fixing, adhesive casting fixing and so on.
3. Punch strength check Under normal circumstances, the strength and rigidity of the punch are sufficient, and no strength check is required. However, when the punch section size is small and the thickness of the blanking board is very thick, its bearing capacity and longitudinal bending resistance must be checked. Check the size of the dangerous section of the punch and the length of free time and whether it can meet the requirements of the enterprise to prevent the punch from longitudinal instability and fracture.
