Hardware stamping is a process that uses punches and molds to deform or break stainless steel, iron, aluminum, copper and other plates and other materials to achieve a certain shape and size.

Metal stamping is sometimes called sheet forming, but there is a slight difference. The so-called sheet forming refers to the use of sheets, thin-walled tubes, thin profiles, etc. as raw materials. The forming method of plastic working is collectively referred to as sheet forming. At this time, the deformation in the direction of the thick plate is generally not considered.

1. Adjust the appropriate gap between the concave and convex molds to avoid scratching the surface of the workpiece when the gap is too small or uneven.

2. Keep the surface of the concave-convex mold clean. The blanks of metal stamping parts need to be wiped clean before stretching to prevent the working surface or material surface of the mold from being dirty, mixed with impurities, damaging the surface of the metal stamping parts, and affecting the surface quality of the mold.

3. Appropriately increase the surface hardness of the punch and die, check the surface of the punch and die during the drawing process, even if the residual metal shavings are removed, because when the hardness of the punch and die is low, the metal shavings It will adhere to the surface and cause pull marks on metal stamping parts.

4. Polish the corner radius of the mold to avoid the rough surface of the mold corners and scratch the surface of the metal stamping parts.

5. Use lubricants suitable for deep drawing processes. If necessary, filter the lubricant before use to prevent impurities from entering. If the lubricant is of poor quality, the surface roughness of the drawn metal stamping parts will increase, thereby reducing stamping accuracy and quality.
